Question: I am thinking about replacing the RAM on my Dell Inspiron E1505 from the current 512 duo to the 2-1GB memory. The 512’s have 533 MHZ. Can I install two 1 GB 667 MHZ or should I stay with the 533 MHZ?

Answer: I recommend you upgrading the RAM to 2 GB with the 667 MHZ bus. I found a great deal on the RAM directly at Dell.com for $34.19

Here is the link: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Memory_Upgrades/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=A0944558

You need to remove the 512 sticks that are in there now and replace them with the 2 1GB sticks. 2GB is the highest amount of RAM your motherboard will support.

****If you have a question please send it to us at tech@computertechtips.com and we will do our best to answer your question in a timely manner.****
